International Christian Fellowship (ICF) Baptist Church
Hidden beneath highrise apartment buildings our small church is difficult to see.
Look above the windshield of the double parked dark car. This is the ONLY Baptist church in our city of 40,000 residents and approximately half a million visitors each year.
The store front church is only 22 ft. wide. The small poster in the window lists the service times of the four congregations that gladly share the small facility together.
The International Christian Fellowship (ICF) Baptist Church in Portimão, Portugal was started by Norman and Genita Harrell. Since the Harrells retired in 2002 the church has been searching for a pastor.
Worship service Sept. 2007
On June 6th 2004 the ICF congregation unanimously called David to pastor their English-speaking congregation in Portimão, Portugal. David and Joy with God's help have started Borgan Ministries Inc. to support them as missionaries to Portimão to pastor this wonderful International Christian Fellowship.
The congregation has 50 members including International and British expatriates.
Sunday morning (11 am.) worship attendance is 40 -60 and often includes tourists.
